Dog Park Visit Planner · version 1.0.0
Privacy policy
Short version: everything you enter in Dog Park Visit Planner stays on your phone. The app has no account, no server, no ads, no analytics and no internet access, and it does not use your location.
Effective from 19 October 2026.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the Android app Dog Park Visit Planner and the website dogparkvisitplanner.sbs. For any question about privacy or your data, including data requests, there is one address: [email protected].
2. What the app stores
Only what you type in yourself:
- packs (names) and dog cards: name, breed, date of birth, weight, size, temperament notes and your own notes;
- care dates: type, name, due date, date last done, repeat interval and notes;
- visits: title, date, start time, planned length, place written as text, the dogs going, tags, notes, status, cancel reason and the before-you-leave checklist;
- activity logs: time at the park, distance you typed in, energy and mood on a 1–5 scale, notes, and the names and notes of other dogs you met;
- visit templates, your default checklist, an optional weekly goal, settings (miles or kilometres) and a list of recent changes.
Notes about other dogs (and possibly their owners) are free text that you write. Please only note what you need.
3. Where it is stored
All of it is kept in the app’s private storage on your phone. There is no account, no cloud copy and no server that receives your data. We – the developer – cannot see, access or recover it.
4. What leaves your phone
Nothing leaves your phone automatically. Data only leaves the phone when you choose to:
- export your walk history as a PDF, CSV or text file, or
- back up all data as a JSON file,
and then share it through the Android share menu or save it to a folder you pick. You decide which app or place receives the file; from then on that app’s or service’s own terms apply.
5. No location, no tracking
- The app does not use GPS, maps or the location permission. Places and distances are what you type.
- The release version of the app has no internet permission and makes no network requests.
- No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking tools are included; no advertising ID is used.
- No camera, photos, microphone, contacts or storage permissions are requested.
- The app sends no notifications.
6. Links to other apps
The e-mail address, this website and this policy can be opened from the app. They open in your mail app or browser; the app itself transmits nothing.
7. How long data is kept and how to delete it
Your data stays on your phone until you delete it: single items, a whole pack, or everything under More › Backup and restore › Delete all data. Uninstalling the app also deletes all of its data. Files you exported or backed up stay wherever you saved or sent them.
8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data and to object to its use. Because we hold no data about you, these rights are exercised directly in the app on your phone. If you have a question or a concern, write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
9. Children
The app is a planning tool for adult dog owners and is not directed at children.
10. This website
This website has no cookies, analytics or trackers and loads no third-party content. The server that hosts it may keep short technical access logs (such as IP address and time of request) to run and protect the site.
11. Changes
If the app ever starts to handle data differently – for example by adding a feature that needs the internet – this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
