Everything you need to get going with Dog Park Visit Planner.
Getting started
Add your dogs
Dogs tab › Add dog. Enter the name and as much as you like: breed, date of birth, weight, size, temperament notes and your own notes.
Add care dates
Open a dog › Care dates › Add. Choose the type, the due date and whether it repeats. Tap Done when it’s been given – a repeating date moves to the next one.
Plan a visit
Tap Plan visit. Pick the date, start time, length, place and dogs. Templates and recent places fill things in for you.
Before you leave
Open the visit and tick the checklist. Long-press an item to rename or remove it; change the default list under More › Before-you-leave list.
Log the visit
Tap Done – log the visit. Enter the time, distance, energy, mood, notes and the dogs you met. Past visits that are still planned are listed on the Today screen.
Look back
The Journal shows totals for a period and per dog. Export walk history creates a PDF, CSV or text file.
Good to know
What is a pack?
A separate project with its own dogs, visits, templates and checklist. Switch packs by tapping the pack name above any screen title, or under More › Packs.
How do I try the app first?
Tap “Explore an example pack” on the welcome card, or More › Packs › Add the example pack. Delete that pack when you’re done.
Miles or kilometres?
Miles by default. Switch under More › Settings – distances already entered are converted, nothing is lost.
I deleted something by mistake
Right after deleting, tap Undo in the message at the bottom of the screen.
Where is my data?
Only on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes it, so keep a backup file (More › Backup and restore) if you change phones.
Is this veterinary advice?
No. The app helps you keep your own records; please ask your vet about vaccinations and treatments.
